Who Is Elizabeth Rose?

about me

For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven… Ecclesiastes 3:1

As many of you, Elizabeth has walked many paths. She celebrates where she is today while on the way to wherever she is lead in the future. Her name is Elizabeth Lynn Huffman Rose. The first half of her life she was called Lynn. Now she goes by Elizabeth, but answers to both. She is a widow and the mother of two wonderful grown children, Ryan and Jennalea. She adores her son-in-law, Scott.

She is a spiritual woman and a seeker of healing, peace, clarity, grace and deeper relationships with family, friends and with God. As an author and inspirational speaker, it is her desire to inspire others to motivate themselves to let go of worries and fears, negative emotions and the pain and loss of the past. In sharing her life lessons, she encourages others to find the courage to live with purpose and passion. In letting go, we allow God to open us up to the magnificent life experiences that are waiting for us.

Wanderlust describes her passion for travel and newness--new places, new people and new experiences. For many years, as a Certified Travel Counselor, she had a career in the travel industry. As a Tour Manager, she traveled with student and adult groups, while enjoying the opportunity to share in their adventure of discovering our world.

Most of her life she has lived in Clarksburg and Bridgeport, West Virginia. She and her twin brothers were raised on a beautiful farm, where her parents still live today. They learned to laugh, work hard, the importance of values and morals and a deep love for the Lord. For the last few years, she has enjoyed being a part of new beginnings as a Certified Wedding Coordinator, while living in McHenry, MD, amid beautiful mountains and lakes. Nature feeds her soul. Photography is her way of capturing the beauty of God’s creation. She uses creativity in many forms as a means of expressing herself. Recently, Elizabeth relocated to Morgantown, WV and cherishes time with family and friends. She enjoys writing beside her babbling stream, laughing and talking around a cozy backyard fire, porch swing talks, and the unexpected special moments life brings.
